Hospitality
Greeter
Welcome guests and attenders. Help give direction to different areas. Connect them to specific people for different needs. 15 minutes prior to gathering time.
Coffee Service
Brew coffee as needed. Welcome guests and attenders. Help give direction to different areas. Connect them to specific people for different needs. 15 minutes prior to gathering time.
Usher
Distribute bulletins, adjust temp and lights as needed, collect and count offering, pass out communion. Welcome guests and attenders. Help give direction to different areas. Connect them to specific people for different needs. 15 minutes prior to gathering time.
Communion Bread prep
Prepare SBC specific recipe for communion bread. This is usually twice a year position.
Communion set-up or clean-up
Prepare the trays of bread and juice for gathering.
Clean up the trays of bread and juice after the gathering.
Special Needs
Assist in serving, supplying or preparing food/beverage for people in need, meetings and /or special events. Cleaning and organization of the kitchen.
Gathering
Announcer
Welcome guests and attendees. Gives announcements for upcoming events, introduces guest speakers, explains connection card, and opening prayer. Arrive 15 minutes prior to gathering time.
Communion Explanation
Prepare SBC guests and attendees for the communion remembrance. Explaining the elements and the remembrance.
Communion Reader
Prepare SBC guests and attendees for the communion remembrance. Reading the scripture and saying prayer.
Worship & Media
Worship music
Use your musical and/or vocal gifts to create a beautiful worship experience for guests and attendees. Auditions are welcomed.
Media Team
Audio/lighting positions for the sound/lighting equipment and Video positions for the images on screen. Both of these positions have training to help you create an atmosphere for worship and learning.
Student Ministry
Follow a prepared lesson and interact with either Sr or Jr high students during a weekly session. Offer a safe and patient environment to learn about community and walking out their faith.
Kid Life
Nursery
Help children and interact with them during a one-hour session. Encourage them to learn and grow in their little community.
Preschool or Kindergarten check-in
As children arrive, you will enter their name and give a pick-up ticket to the parent.
Preschool or Kindergarten Mentor
Follow a prepared lesson and interact with the children during a one-hour session. Encourage them to learn and grow in this exciting little community.
Grade school check-in
As children arrive, you will enter their name and give a pick-up ticket to the parent. 15 minutes prior to gathering time.
Grade school Mentor
Follow a prepared lesson and interact with the children during a one-hour session. Encourage them to learn and grow in this very curious little community.
Pick-up Partner
As the children leave, you will help to return chairs, toys, crafts and equipment to their places.

Assist in repairs, maintaining equipment, gutter/drain cleaning, shed storage organization, and coordinating bids for special repairs.
Landscaping
Maintain, plant and prepare the landscaping of various flower beds, mowing of small play areas, shoveling/salt prep, trash removal from lawn and lot.
Event Childcare
Several opportunities are available for those interested in helping with childcare for events, groups and classes. Paid or donated.
