The road to Eldoret
We began early with the long drive from Nairobi to Eldoret.
Hoping to beat the morning rush, we quickly got our first real taste of Kenyan roads. Along the “interstate,” people walked to work beside large trucks, cars, buses, and motorcycles as we navigated fast-moving traffic on what was mostly a two-lane road. 😳
Efren has a video that captures part of the experience, though it is difficult to convey the movement, noise, and rhythm of the traffic unless you have seen it firsthand.
We stopped for breakfast with John Langer and his team, a welcome opportunity to connect and continue building relationships.
As we travel that God is present everywhere.
Though everyone was tired, spirits remained high. Over dinner, we discussed plans for the next few days and looked ahead to the opportunities God has in store for our team. We are grateful for safe travel, good company, and the prayers that continue to support us.
Thank you for continuing to pray for us as we settle in and prepare for what comes next!
